Dr Chetna is a highly accomplished, board-certified Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician who brings advanced clinical expertise and academic distinction to her practice. Trained at prestigious medical institutions across India—including Maulana Azad Medical College (MAMC), University College of Medical Sciences (UCMS), and Sir Ganga Ram Hospital—she delivers an evidence-based, highly individualized approach to comprehensive renal care. Driven by a commitment to clinical excellence, she has completed advanced specialized training, earned her DrNB in Nephrology and achieved the prestigious GLOMCON Fellowship. Established in her practice, she balances high-volume clinical care with academic contributions, having held visiting faculty appointments, participated in global nephrology research initiatives, and actively maintained memberships in premier bodies such as the International Society of Nephrology and the Indian Society of Organ Transplantation.

In her clinical practice, Dr Chetna provides an advanced and comprehensive spectrum of nephrological interventions specializing in adult nephrology, critical care nephrology, and renal transplantation. She provides comprehensive pre-transplant workups, post-transplantation care, immunotherapeutic management, and treatment for acute or chronic graft dysfunction. As a skilled interventional nephrologist, she routinely performs vascular access procedures, including arteriovenous (AV) fistula creation, permanent catheter (Permacath) insertions, and internal jugular vein (IJV) line placements. She is deeply expert in providing and overseeing customized hemodialysis protocols, peritoneal dialysis, continuous renal replacement therapy (CRRT), and cytokine filter therapies for critically ill patients. Dedicated to renal preservation and disease management, she provides diagnostic workups and specialized treatment plans for complex glomerular disorders, acute kidney injury (AKI), severe electrolyte imbalances, and chronic kidney disease (CKD) tailored to slow disease progression and mitigate cardiovascular and metabolic risks.

Dr Chetna’s foundational medical expertise is built upon a rigorous academic background and a dedicated record of research publication. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Maulana Azad Medical College & LNJP Hospital, followed by a Master of Doctor of Medicine (MD) in General Medicine from UCMS & GTB Hospital, Delhi University. She subsequently achieved her Diplomate of National Board (DrNB) in Nephrology from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and membership credentials (MNAMS) from the National Academy of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. An active contributor to global nephrological science, Dr Chetna has focused her research on organochlorine pesticides in CKD of unknown etiology and the diagnostic spectrum of adult glomerular disorders using electron microscopy. She has published original research in peer-reviewed indexed journals, serves as a peer reviewer, and has presented award-winning clinical findings at major national and international forums including the World Congress of Nephrology.
