Dr Kavita Sharma is an accomplished Anaesthesiologist and Critical Care Specialist who brings extensive clinical and academic expertise from some of India’s premier tertiary healthcare institutions. Having trained and practiced extensively at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, alongside leading super-speciality centres, she brings a calm, highly organized approach to perioperative care and high-stress clinical environments. Her professional background includes clinical teaching experience accrued during her senior residency, as well as extensive service in high-demand public healthcare institutions and emergency response initiatives. In her clinical practice, she balances high-acuity critical care management with a commitment to patient outreach, actively educating patients and families about perioperative safety, demystifying surgical anaesthesia, and raising public awareness around critical care protocols and basic life support in the community.

Bringing over four years of dedicated intensive care management, she possesses specialized experience in super-speciality COVID-19 ICUs and acute trauma settings. She maintains proficiency in emergency triage and Red Zone acute care, provides Pain Clinic consultations, and has specialized exposure in orthopaedic and sports injury anaesthesia gained at the Central Institute of Orthopaedics and Sports Injury Centre at Safdarjung Hospital.
Dr Sharma’s foundational medical expertise is built upon rigorous clinical training at top-tier institutions. She earned her Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) alongside her rotatory internship from Gandhi Medical College (GMC) & Hamidia Hospital in Bhopal. She subsequently completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) in Anaesthesiology & Critical Care at VMMC & Safdarjung Hospital in New Delhi, where she also completed an intensive senior residency incorporating clinical teaching experience. She is certified in Basic Life Support (BLS) and bases her clinical ethos on precision, clinical excellence, and deep compassion for patient well-being.
